About

Who we are

We are a society of Rheumatologists and allied health professionals who care for people with arthritis. Since there are over 100 types of arthritis, we as clinicians, educators, researchers, and scholars are kept rather busy. The field of rheumatology has advanced with new and innovative therapies for our patients. MSRD is focused on our own education in order that we remain current with these significant changes in our field.

Mission

Our mission is to enhance the lives of patients with arthritis and their families.

We strive to:

  1. Deliver the latest evidence-based treatments of arthritis, in order that our patients remain active in their home, community, and work roles.
  2. Train the next generation of rheumatology clinicians and research scholars.
  3. Support rheumatologists and rheumatology health care professionals by education, research, and advocacy.
